Terms of service

The agreement

These terms are between [legal entity name] (“we”) and the business that creates a Bos.Dog account (“you”). By ticking the box when you sign up, or by using the service, you accept them on behalf of that business. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

These terms cover your use of Bos.Dog. The terms between your facility and its own clients are yours to set; you can publish them from Settings.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over and able to bind your business.
• Keep sign-in access secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what staff you invite do.
• Give staff only the access they need. You can change or remove it at any time.

Your data and your clients’ data

• You own the data you put into Bos.Dog. We use it only to provide the service.
• You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect your clients’ details, for telling them how you use them, and for answering their requests. The privacy policy explains our part.
• You can download your facility’s data from Settings at any time, and erase a client’s personal details from their profile.
• Do not upload anything you have no right to share, or anything unlawful.

Plans and payment

• The free plan costs nothing. Its limits are shown on our website and in the app.
• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe, plus any tax that applies.
• You can cancel at any time. The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund part periods unless the law requires it.
• If a payment fails, paid features may pause until it succeeds. Your data stays.
• We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change, and it applies from your next renewal.

AI features

Some features draft text with AI, such as report cards and summaries. Drafts can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them or send them to a client. They are not veterinary advice.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break in or overload it, no access to another facility’s data, no spam to clients through it, and no reselling it without our agreement.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Bos.Dog available and your data backed up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or retire features. When a change takes away something you rely on in a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

Ending the agreement

• You can stop using Bos.Dog at any time. Ask at [email protected] to close your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where we reasonably can.
• After closure you have [30] days to download your data. We then delete it as the privacy policy describes.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [place] have jurisdiction, without taking away rights you have under the law where your business is based.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes here and email account owners at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Bos.Dog after that means you accept the new terms.
